Our Mission

The Hungarian Robotics Association is an open, inspiring professional community that brings together all domestic stakeholders in robotics with the goal of placing Hungary at the forefront of technological development. Our manifesto summarizes our community’s vision and principles in ten points.

1. Accessibility and Education

We are committed to making robotics understandable and accessible to everyone. We promote scientific and technological knowledge, support education, and contribute with clear explanations to help the general public understand the benefits of robotics. In doing so, we build the foundation for future professionals and social acceptance.

2. Inclusive, Supportive Community

We are building a community where every member matters. Whether it’s a large corporation, a small startup, a university researcher, or a high school, the Association is inclusive for everyone. It’s important to us to care for our members: experienced members mentor newcomers, we share resources with each other, and celebrate our successes together. Openness and mutual support are fundamental principles – we believe that together we are stronger.

3. Strategic Collaboration and Cooperation

We bring together stakeholders from robotics industry, education, and research under one umbrella: companies, developers, startups, universities, research institutes, and other stakeholders. We provide a common platform for dialogue and collaboration, so that the convergence of different sectors creates new synergies. The Association acts as a catalyst for networking, creating regular forums, meetups, and project opportunities among members.

4. Innovation and Competitiveness

We support the widespread adoption of new robot technologies and the creation of domestically developed robotic solutions, because we believe this is key to Hungary’s economic development. Our goal is to increase the competitiveness of Hungarian companies and institutions, to be at the forefront of robotics applications, and to catch up with global leaders.

5. Education and Talent Development

We support future workforce development and continuous learning. Our goal is to ensure that both young talents and current professionals receive the necessary knowledge and skills, thereby ensuring that there are always enough well-trained professionals to serve the development of robotics in Hungary.

6. International Relations and Perspective

We strive for an active international presence. We represent Hungary in international robotics organizations and build close relationships with foreign partners. We share international best practices and involve foreign resources in domestic projects. This not only brings recognition and visibility to the Hungarian robotics industry globally, but also ensures that our members learn first-hand about the latest trends, standards, and opportunities.

7. Responsible and Ethical Innovation

We always approach robotics applications in a responsible manner, guided by ethical principles. The Association acts as a catalyst for the spread of responsible solutions in Hungary, which means we support safe, reliable, and socially beneficial robotic technologies. We reject any practice that would endanger people’s safety or rights. We put innovation in service of the common good: our goal is for robots to improve quality of life, not increase risks.

8. Professional Excellence and Integrity

We believe that everyone benefits from sharing knowledge. Within the Association, members regularly share their experiences, best practices, and case studies with each other. We organize conferences and workshops where we present the latest developments and safe, proven examples. This kind of open collaboration helps the entire Hungarian robotics ecosystem learn from both successes and failures, thus developing faster.
