The Hungarian Robotics Association stepped into the public spotlight in September 2025: first at the AI Expo Hungary conference (September 1), then at the region’s largest artificial intelligence event, the AI Summit Budapest conference (September 8–9).
Background to the introduction
The public appearance was preceded by several months of preparatory work. The Association’s founders developed the accessible robotics slogan and a strategy built on three pillars:
- Education – broad dissemination of robotics knowledge
- Community building – connecting professionals, enthusiastic amateurs and students
- Projects – launching concrete, open-source robot-building projects
Reception
The introduction was well received: interested parties from multiple fields – education, industry, research – reached out immediately, wishing to join the Association’s work.
AI Summit Budapest is Central Europe’s largest AI conference, held in Városliget with more than 300 speakers. For the Association, this was an ideal forum to present our work at the intersection of robotics and artificial intelligence to a professional audience.
